João Paulo hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Currently, he lives in Brooklyn, New York working from his home studio. His early passion for the creative arts, especially music, have since been directed into his love for tattooing and painting. JP is most inspired by the connection that exists between the artist and those they tattoo, the collaboration and the life exchange that cannot be broken. A dedicated student, JP has worked alongside many great names, many places in the globe and continuously studies the great works in Japanese, American Traditional and Tribal tattoo techniques.
